“The Cultural Arts Center exhibit emerged from my collaboration with jazz musicians. Their original compositions inspired my paintings. Conversely, the musicians found inspiration from specific paintings of mine and composed music that sounded like the art.
Ultimately, the translation of meaning from one art form to another produced a wider field of meaning”.
